It would save a lot of time for the person getting the notification of Document Up-date if the "Reason" for the notification were included in the email.
i.e. Phil Crisler has uploaded a new version of document: French Toast Cake Donut Formula "Reason: new photo." or "Reason: add 2 minutes mix time." or "Reason: change flavoring supplier."
This way the person receiving the notification can decide if they want to open and review the document or not; and if they have to approve the document they will know exactly what was changed without having to go to the Audit Log.
