There are tasks that can be delayed or postponed to some future date. The local site needs to track actions by status but our records cannot have a status called postponed. Can we add a new stage called "Holding" and add a checkbox into this action details stage. If you check the "Put on hold" box then the record will move to this holding stage.
The CAPA flow in SF360 is not designed to postpone corrective actions to some future date. It is an action driven workflow which requires actions to be conducted within a fixed time frame to ultimately close-out the corrective action. If actions are required which need to be "put on hold" for an indeterminate time-frame then it is suggested that the Quality Management module is used to record such actions.
