Placerholders in Alerts

It would be super useful if we could add place-holders to Alert descriptions that are based upon information already on the record. For example, you could write an alert description as follows;

High risk complaint for {Customer} has been raised for product {Product}

Then the system would swap the information inside the curly brackets with the real customer and product names. This would make the alerts more meaningful and we wouldn't have to click the link every time to find out what exactly the alert relates to!

    This is required for numerous applications, also for as the alerts are filed within an outlook folder they can be scanned for information relating to a specific record. Can this please be looked at.

    Good idea.  Also in sending out alerts in the supplier module I would prefer to be able to have more specific title and body of text, where insertion of metadata would be of help. The current solution is the attachment of the pdf to the alert.

    NB. The insertion of metadata in the alert appears to be already working in the documentation module, but those alerts can not be configured by the admin or user.
